The stools were easy to put together. For the price i paid, they are a pretty good deal.
One thing that its missing is the plastic inserts at the bottom of each leg, to avoid scratching hardwood floors. I had to get my own!!
Also one piece in the set was wrong. I called up the company and they shipped me a correct piece without any further hassle.

(More customer reviews)The stools arrived yesterday and putting them together was a "snap", literally. Although they were undamaged, the packing materials themselves were a pain to handle, small white broken-off styra-foam particles electostatically charged everywhere and sticking to everything. Now, to the stools themselves. They are lighter but look like the more expensive, heavier stools that I've seen locally. Their lightness is not really a disadvantage as they seem easy to move, yet stand stable when sitiing on them. What is ununusual is that they slightly drop when sitting on them, then rebound slightly up when you get off of them. I guess this is "normal" for them because, as of yet, this is not problematic. They are fairly comfortable to sit in for bar height laptop computer work, which I am utilizing them for, and for the price, are reasonable. Time will tell how well they hold up, especially the pneumatic height adjustment. It is also noteworthy that they arrived very quickly, within four days of my placing the order. Overall, although not perfect, this item is not bad.

Beautiful Set Of 2 29"h Black Swivel Bar Stools W. Back Review

(More customer reviews)I love these stools, they have a sleek and smooth texture. You know black goes with anything. Plus the price were unbelivable. I couldn't believe I was receiving 2 stools for basically 60 bucks plus shipping and handling. Every store I browse for stools, one stool was the price of both of those stools put together and they were not swivel. Stores like Pier 1, J.C. Penny, Sears, Wal-Mart, Garden Ridge, Target. These stools turn completely around, you don't have to get up to turn your stool around if you want to change direction. My husband and I eat our breakfast in the morning before leaving for work at the breakfast bar sitting in those stools. When we are watching the news we just swirl around in the stool. Everything was just like they advertised. I received the stools in the amount time they said I would. I also received an e-mail with the tracking number to let me know the status of my package. Great DEAL!!!!

(More customer reviews)These arrived on time, well packaged, and all of the parts needed were there. Having assembled many, many pieces of furniture in my lifetime, and being fairly handy with tools, putting these together was only mildly frustrating. If this had been my first time assembling something, it would have been more than a little difficult.
There are no written instructions, only pictures, and not very detailed ones at that. You do get a list of how many A pieces you have and how many B pieces you have, as well as what size screw to use where. The front and back pieces are also completely assembled when they arrive, so all you really have to do is attach the few pieces in between, and then attach the seat cushion. They do not, however, show you the specific angle at which the lower leg supports should be inserted, nor do they tell you that the holes in the "tabs" for the short screws aren't necessarily pre-drilled at the exit point.
Once figured out, they went together relatively easily, and the finished product is even more attractive than in the photo. The color is rich, and more of a deep, dark mahogany than the almost black that most Cappucino finishes seem to be; the seat cushion has a beautiful texture to it.
I would definitely recommend these, and if I needed more than 2 barstools, I would buy these again without hesitation.

Single Saddle Seat Stool Review

(More customer reviews)These stools look great, were well packaged and easy to put together. And a great price to boot! I chose these stools because the style and color match my dining room table perfectly. Also, since they are very shallow, I can push them under the counter and they stay out of the way. Our previous stools were more like chairs with backs, and they took up a lot of room and we were constantly shifting them to get by. (They were also too short for our bar-height counter, but that is another story...)
As one reviewer previously mentioned, when you are unpacking the contents of the box, be sure to look for the red dots on the legs. The legs of the stool are packaged two together - both legs with red dots are in the same bag. The red dots ensure that the holes for the cross bars are facing the right way. I was surprised at how small the box was. It comes with an allen wrench and a total of 12 screws. I think it took about 10-15 minutes to read the directions and put the first one together.
One thing I wish I had thought about was the "feet". We have dark wood floors which show every little scratch, and I should have bought some felt pads for these at the same time. For now, I taped some of the the soft packing material under the bottom of the legs :)

(More customer reviews)Updated since this review. See additional posts. Sharp looking with the shiny chrome look and black seat. Looks great in a stainless steel kitchen. It does not say it but these seats have a maximum weight of 200 lbs. so my husband cannot use them. They go up and down, but it depends on your weight. I am 115lbs. and I can go down not up. My Daughter is 48lbs. and can only go up. Still a deal but keep the weight restriction in mind if you want everyone to use them.
