These stools fit the bill to a "T"!! Although we have only had them for a moth or so, they appear that they will withstand day to day use very well.

Assembly was a breezed, but I would highly recommend cataloguing the pieces into separate piles first as some pieces can easily be confused for others. For example I used a short screwed thinking there were all the same length. The chairs are really attractive and a bargain at the price. This seat height works perfectly with my bar which is appx. 44 1/4" off the ground.

(More customer reviews)I've purchased a few items from South Mission and by and large I've been disappointed with nearly all of them, including this particular item. My main complaint is the construction which feels cheap and flimsy. Out of the box, I noticed numerous problems such as scuffs to the exterior, flimsy base, and cheap feeling seat materials. If your item is defective out of box as mine was, eturning an item will be quite a pain, as I have experienced. This, I cannot recommend this item and I recommend avoiding South Mission entirely.

Worth the money. the side rails on the bottom fit together at an angle but it looks great when it is all put together. very happy with how they look with my dining room chairs. Now if I can just get the table (but that is a different story :)
