Amazon needs to pay attention to how these products are shipped. I am not happy about having to now deal with a return! this shouldn't happen as often as it appears ,through other furniture reviews on here, to happen.

The instructions apparently were translated from Chinese and were almost impossible to interpret. My husband, despite his vocation of carpenter, detests "assembling" things. However, when I walked into the kitchen yesterday, he said, "This thing is well made! It makes sense." I've read other reviews which stated it took four hours for three people to assemble, but it took he and my 7 and 5 year old just under two hours!
I was disappointed at the cost for shipping, but decided it was still less expensive than any comparable item I've seen.
No regrets!

(More customer reviews)The table and chairs look nice and my husband had no trouble putting them together. The color was almost exactly what it looked like online. The problem is that the wood is so soft that when you write directly on the table, it marks it. We have solved the problem by getting a custom glass top made, but we definitely hadn't planned on doing that. If you have kids, I definitely would NOT recommend this table (unless you want to spend some extra cash on a glass top).

(More customer reviews)It is very sturdy. It took a while to put together, but the instructions were clear. The little drawers are handy to store my vitamins and other small things.
I purchased the breakfast cart to use as an island in my small kitchen. I can fold it and roll it out of the way and easily roll it into place when I need it. I have trouble standing for long periods of time, so sitting at the cart allows me to do prep work for cooking. I roll it near the sink, so I just turn on the stool to rinse or wash and then turn back to continue prep work. I roll near the stove and can watch the pots and pans on the stove while sitting on the just right height stool.

ITALMODERN Tessa Counter Chair Sets of 2, , Review

(More customer reviews)I was looking for a pair of more-or-less modern looking counter stools, and this model attracted my attention. Amazon's price was the best (via Home and Living; around $212 for the pair incl. delivery; at the time of writing this review, the price was $196 incl. delivery). Shipping was fast. Both stools came in a single (big) box. The stools were easy to put together (I think each one requires screwing in 8 bolts). The chairs are rather comfortable. The only downsides for me are the color (it's darker than shown on the item photo, almost black) and the softness of the wood (a few days after use, I noticed several scratch-like dents, I suspect someone [most likely myself] had keys in the back pocket when sitting in the chair). Also, I noticed that the edges of the chair are becoming lighter, so I'm wondering if the color will hold (personally, I'd rather the color to wash out a bit). Anyway, so far I'm happy with the stools, and I would buy them again.

I don't sit on that stool. If you don't get a warped seat, these are great. Everything you purchase over the web is a gamble I guess.

LEM Piston Stool Chair-Black Leather Review

My wife suggested them and my initial reaction was to be a little skeptical, especially at the price. I was worried that the mechanicals would not be sturdy (we'll see about longevity- had them for several months and all is still OK), or that the chrome would be cheesey looking.[I hope they don't ever develop Chinese chrome rust spots].
It turns out that they seem to be just fine for our use. The pistons adjust to any height and hold, and also have a wide range of adjustment.
These are the only seats in our kitchen and are around our island in our tiny but beautiful informal house on the water. We have had several small dinner parties with these, and they have worked just fine for all sizes and shapes of people. We are small and short legged, but are open minded and count many tall people among our friends as well.
Be careful, however, if you try to add a stool to the group later. We ordered another pair from another vendor, figuring they probably all come out of the same container in Long Beach and move to various resellers around the country. Different seat material entirely (shiny plastic vs. matte finish fiberboard/plastic of these) and didn't match at all. Had to send them back.

Winsome Windsor Swivel 24" Stool, Beech Review
