I had to take them apart and glue them back together just to try to make them safe enough to sit on. Then I was still afraid they would collapse and someone would bust their head open on the tile floor.
I ended up throwing them out just to get rid of the image in my head of someone spilling their brain on my floor.

(More customer reviews)I ordered these stools to go with the vintner high dining table that I bought from another website. They are a perfect match! I was delighted with the quality, too. Very sturdy and surprisingly comfortable for a chair with no back. They are hand-distressed - no lumps and bumps - just pretty distress marks in the finish. They seem to have a lot of laquer and are not rough at all. Mine are sitting on tile, but if your floor scratches easily you may want to put some felt pads on the bottom. The bottom of my table is white and the top is the same color as the stools, so the stools stand out against the white bottom of the table and the whole thing just looks great.

(More customer reviews)We have three of these stools in our kitchen and get compliments on them often. Everyone is shocked that we bought them on amazon.com! The swivel works well and the seat fabric cleans easily. The marble detail in the chair back mixes nicely with the granite counters in our kitchen, and the bronze finish makes the chairs more distinctive than ordinary black.
Use felt pads on the feet. The plastic feet will scratch floors if dirt gets trapped underneath. Felt pads make it easy to move these relatively heavy (but quite sturdy) stools.

(More customer reviews)I needed a pair of stools for my workshop, and purchased these from Amazon since the price, with shipping, was the lowest. They go together fairly easily - if you have a 10mm wrench and a large flathead screwdriver on hand it will be a bit easier, as I found that the cheap combo screws (both Phillips and slotted in one) had a tendency to cam out when used with a Phillips screwdriver. It took me about 10 leisurely minutes to put one together.
One has a very loose head, so I may have to take it apart and give it a couple of good bashes with a hammer to tighten the rivet that holds the swivel together. The other was fine out of the box. The tops are very firm - I would have liked more padding, as they are less comfortable to me than a stool I purchased from Northern Tool years ago.
If you don't mind the seat, they are an excellent value for the money.

(More customer reviews)These chairs are really the BEST Milano Leather Bar stools. They are GORGEOUS! Not only did they come COMPLETELY assembled, they are also individually wrapped so that the leather does not scratch. The leather is very soft and the nail heads are individually hammered. They are VERY well constructed. I have seen these chairs in high end furniture stores for $400.00 and the ones from Amazon are made better and have a metal kick plate that no other chair I've seen in the stores has. I HIGHLY recommend these! We purchased them for our counter and my kids sit in them for almost all meals, they are easier to clean then vinyl.
From a professional's perspective, I had a leather upholstery guy come to repair my leather couch and when he saw the chairs, he said "Wow these are really nice, very well made, where did you get them?" I told him and what I paid and he said, "That's a GREAT deal!"
If you are looking at new bar stools that have a high end look these are the bar stools to purchase!!!!

She has a difficult time getting onto shuttles and busses, so I thought this step stool would be just what we needed. When folded, it is so small, I had no trouble carrying it with me everywhere we went up and down the Strip. My Mom was able to go everywhere she wanted and do everything she wanted. And when we got stranded in Detroit overnight on the way back, the stool was a lifesaver on the shuttle to the hotel. The step was so high that everyone on the bus wanted to use the stool. I would recommend it to anyone considering buying it.

The 25" they mention as the height appears to mean the base of the seat, as opposed to the top of the seat which is 2" of foam. When we pulled them out of the box, we found that at least one of the leg pieces was cracked. In general, the quality isn't spectacular.

(More customer reviews)These stools may look nice but are SO INCREDIBLY CHEAP. My first order was packed so poorly one had punched a hole in the other. I ordered another set because at this point I needed them the next day so decided just to go ahead and place another order on overnight and return the old one. These also CAME DAMAGED. Between the two orders I was able to piece together two non-damaged stools. Some of the other pieces such as plastic rings were broken as well. When I got both stools assembled, one immediately fell apart. A plastic ring at the bottom of the stool that is suppose to stay snugly secure to the base of the white (fiberglass typeish material) it fell down and now lies loosely at the base of hte stool. I might try to hammer it back on but I'm afraid it will break the cheap plastic. DO NOT BUY BECAUSE YOU WILL REGRET THIS PURCHASE!
Lastly, when you sit on them, they sink down considerably and frighten people who aren't expecting that to happen. Also at the highest position, sometimes it will get stuck up there (or down at the lowest) and you have to bounce up and down on the stool while holding the lever to get it "unstuck"
