My husband put them together - took maybe 45 min. for each one - without any problems. The more you sit on them, the more comfortable the seats become. They have worked out great for us so far!

(More customer reviews)Sturdy, fit and finish good, reasonably easy to assemble. The wood is Shorea not what is advertised, at least I don't think so, but there are many genera of Shorea. The table leaf is a bit of pain to get out of the table but still a better place than leaning against the garage wall. The chairs are comfortable but will definitely need a cushion for any long term socializing.
If this is what you desire for the patio it is in my opinion well worth the asking price.

(More customer reviews)I found these stools on Overstock for $249.99 and Furniture on the Web for 234.99...could not believe the AMAZING price through Amazon. I initially thought they might be diffeent based on photos, but once I received them I recognized the detail, they were the same as the other places except I paid only $109.00 plus $28.49 for shipping...and yes there were two stools as advertised. I figured for that price there would only be one stool and the price was advertised incorrectly.They match my deep cherry cabinets perfectly, the seats are nice and big (unlike stools I've seen in retail stores),the wood appears to be good quality, and the seat is even nicer than I thought (I was hoping there would be no shine and there wasn't). My husband did have to put them together, but if you have the proper tools it's a quick job. They look high end, but in actuality cost me less than $70 each with shipping costs. I couldn't get this price anywhere. Shipping was as promised...quick...I am very satisfied with this purchase for quality with a very small pricetag!

Coaster Country Style Dining Chair House Bench, Natural and White Finish Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered the Country Style Natural and White Dining bench and 4 matching chairs to replace a similar set that had worn out over the years. While I was able to find similar chairs at a local retailer, every set I examined was poorly constructed and had construction glue dripped down the legs. After reading several reviews of this set, I opted to order online. I'm glad I did. The chairs are better quality than my original set. Each is reinforced with double spreaders underneath to prevent the wobbles that break the chair down over time. The finish is clean and everything fits well. The only complaint I have is that the undersides of the seats are not sanded (my old set and those I've seen locally were). We have picked up several splinters grasping the seat to scoot closer to the table. This is easily remedied with a bit of sandpaper, but I recommend doing so before using the set.

The on-line photos looked good but it came to over $1,000 with shpg-all for naught. Plus we had to do a lot of assembling!

(More customer reviews)For the most part, these chairs are great. They were easy to put together(though it took a little time) and they look fantastic. The reason I give 3 stars instead of 5 is that one of the legs seems to be about 0.25 inches shorter than the rest, hence the chair rocks pretty severely without some type of shim under it. (I stuck 2 felt pads under the leg which seems to work pretty well). Other than that, they seem to be of good quality.

(More customer reviews)I purchased four of these stools for our bar in our basement. As it relates to the assembly,the instructions are much to be desired. The bracket/foot rest didn't fit right any any of the four and it took quite some time to try and figure out how it was supposed to go on as one end is different than the other. The seat backs went on nice however the seated portion had to be screwed on from underneath uisng wood screws (provided). The problem with this is that there were no pre-drilled holes to use as a guide...meaning I had to eyeball all four seats to get them centered on the frame. As of the time of this review we have not actually sat/used these stools as the basement is not yet finished. The quality of the frame is "okay" and the quality of the seat and seat back seems to be pretty good. I would not recommend this product for someone who is not adept at / or enjoys assembling things.

(More customer reviews)I recently bought 2 of these stools on the web. After putting together, 1 was fine-the other did not go together well.I ordered the replacement part. This stool adjusts to different heights easily. It swivels nicely and looks very nice. The material is also very nice. The back is not high--could be a little higher. The seat is a lot larger than my previously owned stools and I am happy about that. I bought these because it has no legs to interfere with the direction the seat is facing. With my other stools, I had to line up the seat between the legs before sitting down. That was annoying. It is not as heavy as the description states. I am only 5 feet tall and I can lift it with no problem. My husband feels it is about only 30-35 pounds. I put small felt pads at the bottom and it slides easily. I can make it very high if my little grandson sits on them and lower it with no problem. This is a very good price!! Check out the different color combinations.

There heavy and sturdy.
Well not topple over getting off and on them, and I don't think a Toddler could knock these over!
They come with nylon tabs on the bottom of each leg, so they do not scrach my lamenate floors.
Very Easy to put together, as My Husband is NOT Handy at all.
All the parts matched.I ordered two sets of these, then when My Daughter saw them , She loved them, so I bought her one set, and these also went together perfect, and easy.
I think the more these stools are used, the more they look like Antique black.
I bought these when the price was 2 stools for 89.99 + Free Shipping and Handleing, 1st from Amazon, then Target had the sale on the internet, so check Target out.
I'm Not a Target shopper, but I know elsewere these type of stools would be alot more money.
I think these stools look more expensive then many others stools I saw.
My Furnature is more Queen Anne, but these stools fit in my kitchen fine.
I would buy these again.

(More customer reviews)Nice, clean, minimalist design. Great for a small apartment. About 37.5 inches long (3ft), 21 inches wide (Nearly 2 ft) and 37 inches high (3ft).
I'm a girl and I had no problem with sitting on the stools for long periods of time. Before I bought a desk, this table set *was* my desk, and I spent long hours sitting there doing homework, studying, drawing, and even watching tv. I was actually surprised how comfortable they turned out to be... however on both my seats there's a corner that's peeling a little (on the black part, it came that way) that can scratch the hell out of your thighs if you're wearing shorts.
Easy to put together - all the tools are included. Took about an hour, maybe an hour 15 from car to finish. One seat wiggles a bit, no matter how tight the bolts are. I just re-tighten it every so often.
So in summary:
Pros:
-Good for a small apartment
-Comfortable, wide seats (IMO)
Cons:
-If the construction is shoddy, you might get a few scratchy edges.
-Only 2 seats (I don't consider it a con since the table is but so big, but my visitors preferred 2 more seats)
All in all a cute table that's pretty cheap too. If you're lucky, you may find it in the actual store. The shipping is steep on here, and it's not that heavy. I managed to bring it into a second floor apartment, though I strongly suggest 2 people to lift it.

Color is lighter than photo - I was expecting a very dark finish; it's more of a dark oak than walnut, but it actually matches my kitchen cabinet doors better so that worked out OK.
Two edges have very small divots under the finish - not a packing issue. They're hardly noticeable and those edges are against walls, so .....
Table is stable, not wobbly; it's very sleek so works well in limited space.
Overall, we're fine with it.
