(More customer reviews)We ordered four of the stools at about half the currently advertised price from amazon on march 21st. Two arrived very quickly on march 25th. The good--- the stools seem very sturdy, and were of a similar style to many that we had seen in higher end furniture stores. The bad---- the bonded leather material seems very cheap,it has a very strange texture and feels and looks more like plastic or something, and the brown color is not very nice its kind of unnatural looking.
So... We contact Unbeatable sale, the amazon seller, and tell them that we are still waiting for the other two stools, and I am told that they actually have not shipped yet, and will contact me back when they are ready. On march 30th they emailed me to tell me they had actually advertised the price of the stools incorrectly, and they were actually double the price we had paid, so our transaction was completed and if we wanted to buy two more stools to get the four we wanted we would have to purchase two more.
I told them I was not interested in the stools if they actually cost twice what we paid and that I never would have paid that much for just the two stools. I would like to send the two I had received back for a full refund, they apologized for the mistake and send they would send me a pre-paid shipping label to mail them back.
Finally on April 22 we received a refund, minus the cost of shipping FOUR stools EACH WAY!! We only received TWO, and the price was wrong!!! I have been calling and emailing amazon and unbeatable sale ever since to try and get my shipping costs reimbursed to my credit card to no avail. I have spent hours and hours trying to get the refund I am owed from amazon and unbeatable sale with no luck as of now May 14th almost 2 months after purchasing the four stools. If you are looking for this style of stool I would highly recommend looking around at other online retailers or local stores, we did find them a little cheaper with a much nicer leather material for sale locally.
