The seat material resembles thin leather and the seat itself could probably use thicker and firmer cushioning. Regardless, it is still a comfortable stool. The price, swiveling and adjustable capabilities of this stool were the biggest selling points for me. I would recommend this product if you are on a budget, like a swiveling style stool and/or like chrome furniture. The big round base gives this stool a very stable profile and swivels perfectly.
