We were worried about assembling it ourselves, especially after reading some of the reviews, but aside from one flimsy piece of hardware, assembling it was rather easy and the piece is sturdy, beautiful, and very functional. The drawers, cabinets, and shelves have a good amount of storage space. The trim and construction are beautiful. A great item, especially in this price range.
