(More customer reviews)It is exactly like the picture and replaces one without the back that was purchased in l965. That one finally became to unstable last year after many moves and uses. I tried to replace it with a plastic step and my wife pitched a fit. She is short and likes the stability offered by the pull out steps. Her ONLY complain is that it isn't brown like the old one but she can live with that.
