(More customer reviews)I ordered these stools for use around a big island in our kitchen. They are beautiful and most importantly, comfortable! The seat is wide enough to make you feel secure about "settling in" a bit. The back is nice and low, which we wanted...didn't want them a lot higher than the island level. The shorter back doesn't lend itself to sitting back comfortably, but that is not usually what people do at the counter...it's more of an "elbows on the counter" posture. They are not bright white, but not cream either, so if you have white high gloss cabinets like we do and want things to match perfectly, you may not want them, but they blend very well and we are happy with them. You can't beat the price of these stools, either. They were cheaper on Amazon than on other sites, and are of a much better quality than equally priced stools at Ikea, which seem cheap and "plastic-y" by comparison.
