It's delicate and modern looking, just what we were looking for our contemporary kitchen. I would give the look a 5-star. The stainless steel legs are nice...most counter stools had chrome (shiny) legs, which we do not like. The seat is actually more comfortable than it looks, however, I'm giving it a 4-star because it's made out of some kind of plastic. We are money conscious so the purchase was worth it. For these modern stools, if you replace the seat with something leathery, the price would at least double, which is not worth it. Make sure you measure the counter height, if it's a 36-inch standard height, make sure you buy COUNTER STOOL and not BAR stools, which is several inches higher and would make sitting at the counter uncomfortable.
